Shanghai: Jinmao Tower

Shanghai can boast that the tallest building in China is Jinmao Tower at 1381 feet (421 meters) . The design is a tribute to ancient pagodas. The observatory, with sweeping views of Shanghai, Pudong, and the Huangpu River, is on the 88th floor. The Grand Hyatt Hotel occupies the top floors from 54 - 87.
