Inside Louvre

The Musée du Louvre opened to the public on August 10, 1793 and now numbers a collection of over 300,000 works. Some of the most famous pieces are the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, the Winged Victory of Samothrace, and Liberty Leading the People.
