The resort town of Bled sits at the southern edge of the Alps. Its clear aquamarine lake remains pristine because of a non-motorized boating policy. Rowboats, kayaks, and swimmers can use the lake and joggers, cyclists, and pedestrians circle the lake on the easy loop trail. Development has not spoiled Lake Bled.
