United States Capitol

The United States Capitol, often called the Capitol Building, is the home of the United States Congress, and the seat of the legislative branch of the U.S. federal government. The capitol was designed by William Thornton. In the center there is a large dome above a rotunda. The north chamber is where the Senate meets and the south chamber is where the House of Representatives meets.
