Located on Navajo land, the Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons are a photographer's delight. The many shades of red sandstone walls carved by water into swirls glow as sunlight moves across the narrow openings into these slot canyons. Dust from the sandy floor diffuses the light even more. Sand poured on the rock falls like a waterfall in the sunlight.
