Grand Canyon

Millions of years of erosion and climate change have sculpted this mile-deep wonder. Sunrise and sunset magnify the sandstone layers and separate the pinnacles and folds of this long canyon. Visitors perch on the overlooks trying to grasp the enormous scale of the canyon and the Colorado River flows through far below.
