Havasupai

For hundreds of years Havasu Canyon has been inhabited by the Havasupai tribe, the people of the blue-green water. They have intentionally limited development to preserve their traditional way of life. Visitors can hike 8 miles down to the reservation, and another 2 miles to the campground, or they can splurge and enter and depart by helicopter, a short ride, but worth it on extremely hot summer days.
