Called the Garden Island, Kaua'i is a tranquil, green oasis compared to O'ahu or Maui. Less development and lots of rain (460 inch average per year) bring fewer visitors and those that arrive hike, kayak, camp and spend much time outdoors at Kaua'i's fine beaches.
