Central Park

This 843 acre urban park centered in Manhattan gives New Yorkers a breath of fresher air and strives for tranquility in the midst of the 24/365 hectic dash surrounding it. It is an all-season park with ice skating in the winter and shady benches in the summer. Designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, since 1859 the park has provided a stop-over for migrating birds, play areas for children, and miles of walking, jogging and cycling paths.
