Arches National Park

Arches National Park, a national monument since 1929, became a national park in 1971. Delicate Arch and Landscape Arch are two of the most-photographed of the 2000 arches located in this scenic national park. Erosion is still at work, causing rocks to fall from pinnacles and arches to collapse. The sandstone is most beautiful at sunrise and sunset.
